What are Heart Wars?
God has a plan for each one of us. We may not like it at times. In fact, we might even get angry with God — very angry — for letting certain things happen to us. Unfortunately, we might even fall away from Him. However, God has a purpose for all the good and the bad, but it’s not for us to understand. There’s no way we could even begin to understand – God is perfect in everything – and we aren’t. Not even close. That said, God gave us free will to make choices. So, our hearts struggle between what we should do or what we shouldn’t do. There is an abundance of heart wars going on in our hearts, and I have tried to bring some of those heart wars to life with certain biblical individuals. If we can see their struggles, maybe it will help us with our own struggles in life. God bless your Heart Wars journey!

Hello! I am a member of Calvary Chapel Green Valley in Henderson, NV, for the last few years. Unfortunately, I joined right before Covid and my husband’s stage 4 cancer started. However, both Jim (Jim Schenck) and I have managed to be connected to the church through streaming Pastor John’s wonderful sermons.
I grew up in St Peters Lutheran Church and School in Lodi, California.
Attended Lodi High School, and then I went off to a few colleges before
winding up at UCLA where I got my BA and my MFA in Acting Specialization. I received my MFA and my MRS (my marriage license) in the same month of June in 1972. We adopted our beautiful daughter Sara in 1989, which is the best blessing we’ve ever received from God.
Over the years (SAG Emeritus) I have acted in several TV shows and films. Also, I have acted in over 17 plays in Los Angeles, New York, and Connecticut. The last one being produced by the Pulse Theatre in New York City.
I’ve had seven of my plays produced and/or had staged readings in Los Angeles, New York, and Connecticut. The last one being produced by the Looking Glass Theatre in New York City.
Also, I have written/edited/directed over 17 children’s plays.
Teaching also has been a passion of mine: Vanguard University, Silverleaf Academy of Arts and Sciences, Arts and Learning Conservatory, and Children’s Theatre Workshop.
So, here I am now putting all the above experiences into God’s hands.
I thought God wanted me to write a screenplay about Intelligent Design – so I did, I wrote it. It’s been a passion of mine to see it on the big screen, but that hasn’t happened. However, it’s all in God’s timing. Meanwhile, I have a new passion and that is Heart Wars. I believe this is where God wants me to be – so here I am!!
